If you have not heard, WILDCARD will soon no longer be together. Our final performance will be June 19th at the Blevins/Brown Hog Roast. The reason for this is Virgil has decided to pursue a career as golf teaching professional in South Carolina and will be moving there in September. After playing together for nearly 12 years we will miss him a lot. but we wish him well. After much thought and discussion between Tim and I, we feel that replacing Virgil and continuing on as WILDCARD would be disrespectful to Virgil and to you our fans. We would like to thank Virgil for being one of the best drummers we have ever had the honor to play with. On a personal note - Virgil has (and hopefully will continue to be) one of my nearest and dearest friends. We would also like to thank all of you for your loyalty and patronage throughout the years - YOU ARE THE BEST! As far as the future for Tim and I - some time ago, for fun, Tim got together with some members of the Rock Bottom band and formed a little side project band called KING FRIDAY and they played out maybe once or twice a month. With WILDCARD ending they have asked me to join up with them, which I have done. We are playing rock from the 80's, 90's and today with some classics thrown in for good measure.
